Ouds in NYC
There are no New York City shops that carry ouds of any quality at all.
In Manhattan, contact Najib Shaheen, who always has a variety of ouds, some vintage, some more contemporary, many of them significantly rebuilt by

If you have time to travel north of NYC, visit John Vergara's shop in Beacon, Lord of the Strings. John has a number of his own exquisitely crafted,

Ouds formerly owned by Haig Manoukian are being offered for sale (in the East Village) by his widow Michele. Feel free to email me for more
information.
There is a range of instruments available, including some Karibyan ouds and a Nahat as well.
