FINALLY! A great, reasonably priced source for quality hard cases!
I can't express how happy I am that we finally have access to quality cases for oud.

High end makers in Turkey have been using these cases for some time now (correct me if I'm wrong) and it is an absolute relief to know that not only
can you get a strong, light-weight case for your oud at a great price, but also, I was able through communication with the seller to specify the
dimensions so that my oud fits perfectly.
And all this for less than $300...the shipping takes a few weeks, but that's just fine with me since the communication and the product itself are top
notch.

FYI - the seller had miscalculated the shipping for my first order, so with the updated shipping the cost is basically $380.
Still very reasonable, but I though I should check in about that.

Those cases are identical to the ones I bought from Faruk Türünz, and for the same price ($200). Not only that, but the pictures of the cases were
taken in his shop...at least, it sure looks that way based on the floor, colors, and such. Is the seller someone who works for him?
In any case...they are outstanding oud cases. I saw a good number of cases in Turkey, and none of them were even close to as solid and robust as
these.

Hi,
The price of $270 was what I paid for my first order through ebay including shipping, but Mr. Demirtas then increased it b/c according to him he lost
money in shipping to the US.
Still very reasonable, especially considering that the case can be customized for the dimensions of your oud.
David, I'm pretty sure these are the cases used by Mr. Turunz and other esteemed makers in Turkey, and yes the price is exactly the same.
I actually just ordered another today, this one in red.
