hi all just received a shehata professional oud that was owned by John Shaker (thanks bro) Its the rosewood oud in the for sale forum
the neck finish is worn off on the sides of the neck in the first hand position. I have instrument building exp and use tru oil for finishing but
would like to strip the old neck finish off entirely.
what finish did M Shehata tend to use and what to strip it off with
