connecting with Istanbul oud makers

I am going to be free for two days in Istanbul next weekend and would love to visit a couple of oud makers to look into good handmade and lower priced Turkish. I know Faruk Turunz since I have one of his ouds but I am wondering about Bulent Erylman and Cengis Sarkis. I have emailed both but not heard back. Anyone have current contact info? Several people at the school here in Abu Dhabi are interested in purchasing a new oud.
Thanks.

Bulent Eryalman is located in Izmir, not Istanbul.

Do visit Ali Nisadir (10 minute walk from Spice Market).
https://www.facebook.com/ali.nisadir?fref=ts
Ali shares a shop with Mehmet the baglama luthier, and Nuri the kemence luthier.

And also visit Mehmet Caymaz (10 minute walk from Ali Nisadir)
https://www.facebook.com/mehmet.caymazoudshop?fref=ts
He and his daughter work together. They make ouds of many bowl sizes, lavtas etc

I have visited both luthiers, and have ouds from both of them (turkish and arabic styles). They are beautifully made, and start around $950+.

Send them messages via Facebook. Their addresses are on FB as well.

I had an interesting day in Istanbul yesterday visiting first with Dr. Cengiz Sarikus and then with Mustafa Copcuglu. I wash looking to get facts on purchasing a turkish oud and also a floating bridge. Both of them made both of these and had a base price of 1800 for them. Mustafa said that he would include a hard case and ship to Abu Dhabi for that price. Cengiz was really delightful and clearly very accomplished, but the oud that Mustapha played was unbelieveably warm and buttery, I mean really amazing. I have an oud from Farouk Turunz which I am totally happy with but it was very interesting to see these others. On my way back through, I hope to visit Mehmet Caymaz and Ali Nisadir.

My latest oud was made by Veysel Sarikus. Highly recommended. Beautiful oud.
