Lucked out in Kythira
We've been spending a few days in Kythira and tonight were lucky to hear some great music in the town square of the historical capital, Chora. The
five-piece Polis Ensemble played a public concert that included traditional music from The Western Balkans, Turkey, the Arabic countries and, of
course, Greece. A terrific ensemble and well worth hearing. The instrumentation; Oud. Kanun, Violin, Double Bass and Percussion. :-)
