Thanks, Navid, we did these in my friend Rami's apartment (he's playing riq), using a zoom h4n with a couple of extra condenser mikes (nothing expensive, as I recall it was an avantone and a sterling sound).

Thanks, Fadel. The composer of the samai is Omar al-Faqir from Jordan.
