Bahij Miqati

I came across this recording of a Lebanese oud player named Bahij Miqati. Apparently he taught in the Lebanese conservatory during the 60s, but not much else is known about him. Does anyone know of any more recordings or information about this guy?

I have a big problem with most of nahawand oud taqasim, too much references to western music, it kills all the beauty of the maqam. But segah is very nice, thanks for sharing.

By the way if one of you knows a pure nahawand oud taqsim, i really would like to hear it.
I've heard very beautiful nahawand taqsim on nay but never on oud or qanun....
