Anyone has informations about the Humayun intonation ?
I posted this video I found very interesting, but I have difficulties to understand the intonation of this maqam.

I don't think it's useful to compare Humanyun with bayati.
As you can hear in Christian's recording the leading tone is Eb+. Humanyun is quite similar to Hijaz except it's centered on Eb+.
The emphasis on Eb+ gives a kind of hypnotic atmosphere. As Christian did also one can rest on C.

You can compare to persian Dastagh-e Homayun, you'll find more of it...it's very similar.
Of course the exact intonation of the notes often changes from one master or school to another.

Listen to singers, you may find also the vocal radif of mahmud karimi which shows exactly the development.
If you have trouble finding it , i can search in persian.

I found a very interseting video about persian intonation.
I didn't see the whole video, I don't think Homayun is explained here but the way that Morteza Hannaneh sings is really pedagogical.
