There appears to be a hoax or at least a big mistake in the $30 pledge gift. A signed copy of a Kesarbai Kerkar LP? I suppose this may be an April
Fool joke. Kesarbai was a celebrated Indian khayal singer. She is not a middle eastern singer and she did not record in New York. All her recordings
were made in India, including the Bhairavi recording that was sent into SPACE on Voyager 1 and 2. She died in 1977. The Canary LP is a recent
compilation of a few of her 78rpm discs. On the other hand although a "signed copy" is offered it doesn't actually say whose signature it is.
