Ordered my new Faruk Turunz Oud!
Completed my order for a new Faruk Turunz Arabic tuned Oud yetserday. I'm so excited to receive it. It should be here sometime next week. I feel like
I made a great choice from what I've heard on this forum, read other places and from my Oud teacher who had the prilage of visiting his shop. I feel
like I'm not only about to receive an Oud made one of the best luthiers in the world, but also a work of art.
I'm just a beginner and learning, but am excited to have such an instrument to help me along. I will have 3 Ouds now and cherish every one, but I'm
sure this one will be special.

Congratulations Edward! I'll be getting my third oud from Faruk's shop in about 2 weeks. They are amazing works of art in every way...sound,
playability, and design. You made a great choice and I'm sure you'll love it.

Well, you can get one for $1300, which is less than many other well known makers charge. I have one of his reduced price ouds, and it sounds every
bit as good as the custom ouds. All the precision you get with a Türünz oud, the custom tools they designed and built to make them, etc., comes
with a price. But in my view the reduced price ouds are worth much more than $1300.
