Oud Classes in the SF Bay Area (June 11 to July 31)

Omar Abbad will be teaching Oud classes and offering private lessons from June 11 to July 31. I took classes from him when he was here last time and I can say he is an excellent teacher with I logical teaching methodology (and he has his own method books). I highly recommend him and will be taking classes with him again. I have no financial interest in this, just a satisfied customer!

The South SF classes will be held on Thursdays (beginning June 16th) at the Jordanian American Association at 305 Linden Ave
Beginner 7-9pm
Intermediate/ Advanced 9-11pm

San Jose classes will be held on Saturdays (beginning June 18th) at the Arab American Cultural Center of Silicon Valley at 3968 Twilight Drive Building 2.
Beginner 12:30-2pm
Intermediate 2-3:30pm
Private lessons 3:30pm onward (ask for availability)

Oakland classes will be held on Sundays (beginning June 19th) at the Islamic Cultural Center of Northern California at 1433 Madison St
Beginner 9:30-11am
Intermediate/Advanced 11am-12:30pm
Taqseem 1pm-3pm
Private Lessons 3pm onward (ask for availabilty*)

Registration will occur at the first session of each course. Please bring payment in the form of cash, credit card, or check made to ZAWAYA.

Please let us know if you are planning to attend any of these classes.

If you would like to schedule private lessons and haven't yet please call Omar Abbad at (send me a u2u) anytime from Friday June 17th on.

If you do not have your own 'Oud we do have some available for rent at a price of $100 for the duration for the course.

If you are unsure of which class level to attend, please come to the Beginner class and your level will be assessed.
