Goksel Baktagir
Hi guys,
I am looking for 2 sama'is by Goksel Baktagir in arabic notation: sama'i hijaz (esmer bakis) and samai nawa-athar (cilgin).
Let me know if anyone has them or needs the Turkish notation

Are there different renditions of the same song or more than one with same name? I am a bit confused as to the naming here unless i am seeing it
wrong. This one I posted the score for starts on D.
Here is the version I like...this is a rendition by OudProff which i like alot and is helpful for me for learning!

I briefly compared the Turkish and Arabic scores for the Hijaz samai, and I do notice some differences, even though they seem to be the same piece.
Maybe they are transcribed from different renditions?

The only reference I found on-line is the song on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tecjjI8L24 I checked my collections and the 55 megs worth of scores of his
music--http://www.gtc-music1.com/pro_uploads/kritikoniko/G_ksel_baktagir_/Goksel_Notalari.pdf--doesn't seem to include it either. I tried to use the

Hey John do you post those sheets online anywhere else? I've converted a few of them to PDF but searching Facebook for specific scores sometimes
doesn't work so well. Thanks, really appreciate your work on that stuff!
