Turkish oud school

Hi Guys,,

as I can’t find any teachers for the Arabic Oud but having Turkish music school in town, I thought to learn the Oud on the Turkish shool. What do you think? Will this be a big rearrangement for someone who is been playing Arabic oud for more than 4 years?
Any comments on this are welcome.

If you have been playing arabic style for 4 years, of course it will take you time to play turkish style but it can be very instructive.
A bit of the topic... many persons oppose arabic and turkish style in oud playing, but never anyone would think to oppose italian, german or french violin style in classical european music....

If there is no arabic music teacher and you like turkish music, go for it.
