El Mashrabeya - oud, string quartet and frame drum

Here my arrangment of El Mashrabeya (Abdo Dagher) for oud, string quartet and frame drum.

I was a bit nervous playing the oud on that piece. Though over all you'll get an idea of its sound.
Wish you enjoy!

Looking at the related links - do you have any notation for "This Hell This Paradise"? I really like that one.

Im glad you like it.
Do you need a full band score? For what purpose you would need it?

It would mostly fit with what we have in our group in Edinburgh - but we don't have all the instruments you threw in, so the vocal line and some hints about the instrumental parts would be enough. We're only just getting started so we wouldn't be doing anything with it for a while.

I think there is a version of that poem by Ruhi Su? - yours is completely different from what he did with it, so it took me by surprise.

ah! didnt know there was another version made from someone else. Good to know. Will check that. Send me a u2u with you email address. Though I haven't written the vocal line since it is quite easy to get while listening to the song.
