Abdo Nahat-Inspired Designs !

Dear fellas;
After 18 months of rigorous work of 3 professionals (luthier, mosaic artist and laser man), under my supervision, BINGO !
Amazingly elegant fully ornate design, along with that superb deep Arabic oud sound of the old days!

Available in wenge, walnut and palisander themes.
Cost: $1295 + $170 (S&H; worldwide).
The wenge oud is SOLD, only the palisander oud is available. A walnut model is supposed to be done within few days.
Your name can be written in the center of the middle major rosette if desired ($50 cost).

The most satisfying point we're quite excited about is the sound quality repeatability/consistency between different wood types. We managed to attain this by sticking to specific dimensions (bowl: 51 x 36 x 19 cm; scale of 60 cm), using high grade cedar top.
Amazing mosaic ornaments all over (balanced; not too crowded).
Here are some videos for the finished ouds:

Palisander (SOLD):

Wenge (SOLD):

Taking orders now (30 days waiting time; as of today).
Interested buyers, please email oud.proff@gmail.com
or contact me on my Instagram/Facebook accounts (@OudProff).

Kindest regards,

Hello
congrats on this success, I love this kind of project.
Just I think it is really difficult to make an idea of the sound characteristic of an oud from a recording. With the use of reverb it comes to impossible. Even if nice in result.
Just an opinion though !
best wishes in the further developpenent of this project.

Thanks my dear. It is indeed quite fulfilling and satisfying to achieve this after a long struggle.

There's no reverb, you're welcome to listen to it live !, maybe on Facebook Messenger, if you'd like.

Kindest regards,

Both sound and look great! I look forward to viewing and hearing the walnut oud. Are you ever going to use spruce soundboards? Or is the repeatability of the sound from oud to oud dependent on using cedar?

Thanks. Here's one last oud (wenge back) and cedar top (also available for sale now; 1150 $US + 170$ S&H).

Well, we tried both cedar and spruce tops, and both gave two different (but old kinda!) sounds.

Here are some videos for the last one:
