Early Ottoman Music Book
Hi everyone .
I am about release my first volume of notations from Ali Ufki, Demetrie Cantemir and the qadim (old-"ancient") repertoire.
The notation is concert pitch and is set out like 'the Maqam Anthology' -the pieces are organised by maqam and suit 'wasla' type performances.
This book will be available soon for anyone interested.

I am still looking for a publisher/distributor - hopefully I can and will sort this soon!

Although I very much dislike Amazon, I have published books on CreateSpace/Amazon (http://www.createspace.com), and it is easy to do and works very well. The quality of the books is high as long as they are black and white, you
make more money per sale than any other publisher I am aware of, they're listed on Amazon, etc..
