Need advice regarding a floating bridge oud

Hello All,

I recently acquired my first floating bridge oud. I have a couple of questions:

1. The floating bridge seems to be angled towards the back of the oud (away from the nut, see photo. Is that normal, or is it reversed?

2. This is a 58.5cm string length oud (19.5cm from nut to the fingerboard joint), what would be a good set of strings? I want to tune CFADgc.
