Negar Bouban: In Turn
Has anyone else heard this album? Negar Bouban is a truly awesome Persian oud player and this album is probably my favorite of hers.
Check out 'Desolate' track 6. It captures everything I love about the oud and it's so sad it makes me want to cry every time I hear it.

She's very good technically, a bit experimental on her own music. You can buy some of her CDs
online. This persian music site allows you to play online at 64kbs and if you manage to signup
for the paid service you can stream at higher quality or download. I couldn't get their payment
systems to work.

She also teaches music online if you wanted to learn persian techniques , and has an iBook for begginers
Most important is that she was a student of Ostad M. Nariman a real legeng of persian Barbat / Oud playing
