got my oud today...

Hi.
I recived the oud i bought over the internet.
Don´t know what to make of it. some strings are missing
I know it´s "old" what ever that means. The were some minor cracks in the back as well. But i got it realy cheap so im not complaining

Im pretty shure it hasen´t been tuned for years:D
Im tuning it very low but the string go out in 2 min or so.
There was also a package of strings in the case. "pyramid" Are thoes familiar to anybody?
Also. the bridge has holes for 6 pairs of strings but the sadle/nut
(is it called sadle in english??) Only has room for 4 pairs and one drone. or 5 pairs and no drone.
so im shure the "sadle" is not the orginal. Or this is some
tourist oud:xtreme:

Anyway it seems good enough the start fiddeling about with
I never played a fretless instrument so i guess i´ll get kick out of the house!! HA!!!!:))
