Who made this beatiful oud?!
Hi all,
I'm a member of a whatsapp group for oudists..
The owner of this oud wants to know who the maker is.
Judging by the elaborate decorations on the back of this oud, I quickly thought "Maurice Shehata"..
But I haven't seen pear shaped ouds made by Shehata, ever.. 
Now, the labels says "Nahwand Music Shop, official distributor of Maurice Shehata & Fathi Amin Ouds in Saudi Arabia".
Still, I thought something is fishy here.. So I contacted Maurice.
Maurice confirmed that this shop WAS an official distributor of their ouds but they broke the partnership because the shop removed Maurice and Fathi
Amin's labels and replaced them with the shop's custom labels which is shown in the attached photo (I don't blame Maurice)..
Maurice also confirmed neither he nor Fathi Amin made this oud.. 
Now, the shop doesn't exist and we cannot find a working number for the shop owners.
Does anyone here have an idea of who might be the maker of this beautiful oud?
