Armenian luthiers in Greece

Good Morning, there were 2 Armenian oud makers ( maybe more ) in Greece. They built other instruments, also, native to the area. Please post their names and any information on them. Thank you

Hi Andy,
I don't know specifically about Armenian oud makers but I know that some of the most respected luthiers in the first half in the 20th C in Greece were Armenian. Two that immediately spring to mind are the Tsakirian family, who still make bouzoukis, and the Apartian family, whose guitars built in the 40s-60s are legendary.

And of course the most famous of all, Zozef Terzivasian (usually just known as Zozef) built the bouzoukis of most of the famous rebetiko musicians, and I believe built ouds too. His bouzoukis still change hands for pretty substantial sums.

YES, those are the names I could not recall. Thank you very much. It was discussing he issue with a friend and neither one of us could recall. Do you know if their instruments are posted anywhere in any condition? THANK YOU AGAIN!
