John Bilezikjian, Los Angeles
For any of you in the Los Angeles area, John Bilezikjian plays a show at the Dunes on Sunset in Hollywood, the third Friday of almost every month
(that's tonight). It's free, and it's great. Mostly Armenian and Turkish music. 7PM. Anybody know of any of regular oud performances in the LA
area?

Sorry. This has been going on for the past few years, but I guess last night was the last night for several months. A shame. He played everything.
Turkish, Armenian. Nihavend Longa. Shehnaz Longa. A couple of Farid El-Atrache songs, some Sephardic things, and some Vivaldi. All just solo oud.
