New oud : Hatef Shaterian
Hi family,
Wanted to share a recent experience I have had with the talented Hatef Shaterian. I just received my oud from him, Indian rosewood and pomelle sapele
on the bowl matched with a cedar top. Couldn't be happier with the outcome and with the process of ordering a oud from him. I thoroughly recommend.
Excellent workmanship and knows how to get the right tone out of his ouds. I would say it's a perfect blend of Turkish and Arabic in terms of tone.

Alf mabrouk Samir, that is one beautiful instrument and it deserves to be in the hands of a musician of your calibre.
I am delighted to see the use of pomelle sapele and it works so beautifully with the longitudinal grain of the rosewood.
