Asking for advice on servicing an old Nahat Oud

Dear fellow members,
A while ago, a friend of mine was cleaning the attic of his father-in-law and found this oud lying under a pile dust.

As you can see the soundboard has some verticle cracks and is missing its central rosette.
We decided to restore this old oud.
BTW even with those cracks the oud is playable and has a very beautiful voice.
I wonder what could be done to fix those cracks, and what is the best way to disassemble the soundboard.
Also I wonder if anyone has photos for reosettes of George Nahat that were used on this model, as we also want to cut the same rosette that used to be originally on it.
The oud was made in 1931 by George Nahat, and the soundboard was serviced in 1960 by Halabi work shop in Damascus.

Any advice or technical help would be of great value.
thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Naf
