walnut soundbox, spruce soundboard, beautiful refined details.
60 cm string length.
Extremely responsive, especially when hammering, and has a long sustain.
Has a few issues, thus the discounted price:
1- hairline crack below the bridge (from dry weather in New York city winters), I had it repaired (filled with hide glue), it's very stable.
2 - bridge is slightly tilted because the face is thin. It hasn't changed in 2 years and Rapakoussios says it's normal.
3 - the action is very low, which is great, but it's creating a slight buzz on two strings. eventually with age the action will go back up,
alternatively the fingerboard can be sanded down by a few tenths of a mm. the new owner will decide what to do.
asking $1200 or best offer, original price was $1600.
