this file recorded in the early 70's, Ahmed Qassim, the famous yemni oud player and singer, playing Farids taqaseem and singing Awal Hamsa on Farids
oud. and guess what, Farid one of the audince.
if he can play this good in the King presence, then he must be an amazing oud player with alot of courge.

Got the file Jaber. I decided to not compress it because it was already compressed quite a bit. But rather I broke up the file into four parts. I will
attach them all separately now starting with the taqsim. Thanks for sharing my friend.

I know that its my duty to post as many great Yemeni oud players as i can, but the problem is that i live in the USA, and I lack alot of tapes and
recordings that I used to have back home in Yemen.
Hopefully, when i go to Yemen next Year, I will try to get alot of stuff...
but..
I promise that I will post alot of Old Sana'any and Yemeni songs online, and also some short taqaseem.
