wood for the oud soundboard
hello all
i want to start bilding my one oud.
i am looking for spruce or red cedar i want this size
60cm x 20cm x 3-2mm
could any one tell me where i could by?

Hi Akram,
I got my cedar from Allied Lutherie and had a good experience. Also Allen Guitar supply seems to have good prices, but I don't know how the quality compares since I don't have any experience with them. Both of
these are in the US, so make sure you check their international shipping policies if you're not in the states.. If I remember correctly Jameel's
website gives the name of a supplier in Turkey.. Good luck on your oud!

Hi,
I just got some amazing Carpathian spruce from http://www.eurotonewood.com . It seem to be reasonably priced but you'll have to join it yourself.
