I have a CD of Moroccon (street) singer and oud player Abdeslam Cherkaoui. The CD, which has been in my collection for many years, was released in
1988 on the UNESCO label.
I have attached part of the taqsim from the first track, "al-warda as-sghira."

i love his style. i think i can teach myself the first part of his taqsim. but it'll take me a few years to make it sound like his any ideas where i can get that CD from? is it still available>?

I have done a quick search of the net and can not find it new.
You may pickup a used copy from Amazon (they have it listed).
