A friend of mine who plays the baglama mentioned to me something that some baglama players use for left hand. These are rings made of lead that the
player puts like a wedding ring to each finger. They are provide extra weight which you eventually get used to and once you take of them your fingers
feel stronger. Also because of the rings, you have to open your fingers more which is a good thing in the long run. I.e: A lot of Muhiddin Targan
pieces require finger #2 on positions where #3 can be used conveniently. So, the player needs to open finger 1 and 2 more. (that's the way he wrote
them due to position changes).
Returningo to the topic, Any ideas? Does anyone know any similiar devices?
