Looking for "Padded" Soft Oud Bag
I am looking to purchase a soft "padded" case for my oud. They are typically made of heavy canvas, a few inch layer of padding on the
inside, and a shoulder strap. Anyone know where I can get one? My e-mail is samzayed@hotmail.com

Hi Sam,
Try looking into an oversized acoustic guitar gig bag. Jameel told me about this secret, and he got it from none other than Issa, your oud teach.  I looked at some online awhile ago, and you can get them for around 30 bucks. Try
your local Guitar Center or Sam Ashe store. If you want one specifically for oud, then you might want to see if Viken Najarian sells them.

When I saw Issa last month, he said he got his bag from the Old Town School store. For the money, you can't beat it. I got mine locally. I took
my oud into the guitar store and tried a few until one fit the best.

last time i was in greece i used a guitar gig bag for the oud. it worked fine but the thing is it's longer than the oud, so it might be a pain,
can get a little bulky.
try a couple out and see.
