Rast Taksim

Here is one more addition to my recordings. I think I am getting better at recording at home :)
Please let me know of your thoughts.

I loved it Mike. All your recordings sound good as does all your playing.
I have a folder on my computer. It's called "Udi Mike_VerySpecial"
Sorta says it all, don't it:applause:

Greg

Beautiful, of course. We could go on and on about your playing, but can you give us some details about how you recorded this? It is not just that you play beautifully, but this is really recorded beautifully.

Thanks Greg and Jonathan. Your kind words are great push factor for me to produce more.

Jonathan, I use the M-Audio's pre usb audio interface and a Marshall mxl 990 condenser mic. The entire setup costs about $200.00.
I usually record on a single track, so I guess any recording software would do just fine. But I record with Cubase SX for Windows, and take advantage of it's effects.
Cubase is way too complicated for me. I just know the basic functionality of it, and I make my living as a software engineer. Go figure :)
One of these days I am going to spend some time on learning how to edit tracks.

Let me know if you need more info on those items.

Cheers

Udi Mike

No, Mike, that helps. It's got a really nice, natural sound.

Now that's really interesting. I purchased the MXL990/MXL991 two mic package from Musicians Friend because Brian Prunka gets his great sound with the MXL 991. I haven't even tried the bigger MXL990 but I will now.

Thanks Mike.

Greg
