Farid Taqasim ! Interactive version !

I was thinking today its been a while since we have heard people on the boards posting.
So I thought since the maqam of the month didnt really get a start... we should see how the members go about trying to perform a Taqasim that Farid played... This is by no meens a competition its just to take different perspective at how to play one of the great one's taqasim. Regardless that isnt the spirit of this forrum.
Please criticise as much as you can so that everyone can get and Idea of how to improve.
And try to post something if you can.

Iam going to attempt the first one. Iam not too happy with the end part but Iam shure there's a few members that can give me advice on how to nail it better.
Thanks guys!
get this thing rolling :bounce:

Thanks so much for your post, Samir. Unfortunately, my own skills on the oud are not yet at a level to enable me to post Taqasim of that magnitude myself, but I can say that I greatly enjoy listening to everything that you and other members put up on this site. Please carry on! Mark

Hey Samir,

Great job bro. You're making tremendous progress. I can't wait till christmas break when i'll have time to spend with my oud. Can post the original taqassim for us?

Thanksfor the comments on my playing Fellas.
Adnan are you away from your oud? or you just dont find the time to play?
Anyways if you have 2 mins to put something on record go for it!
Hopefully This wont turn out to be a one man show :wavey:
I dont want to name anyone in particular but I know there are people out there that can play a mean oud! And of course your encouraged to post even if your new to the oud. Just get inspired by one of Farid's taqasim if you wish. Wich is what I did btw... so Adnan this isnt really a Farid Taqasim its just inspired by one.
All za best

Hehe.. ok its any maqam you like. But this one in particular I think Hijaz Kar Kurd. It changes at some parts of the taqasim.. but feel free to improvise man thats what a taqasim is. I just said you could inspire yourself from FArid if you wish.
Go for it bro. Iam 100% behind you.
