K&K Pickup wiring for Fender VR-1

I have a Fender VR-1 electric violin. I wasn't satisfied with the Piezo pickup on it, or the volule controls so I pruchaced a K&K pickup with 3 transducers and I really like it. I wanted to be able to blend the two pickups without installing a blend pot or switch. I decided to use two 500k concentric volume control pots, but there isn't much room to work in this instrument so I couldn't use a regular size pot, like for a guitar. After months of research I finally found two concentric pots from Stewart/MacDonald, that would fit. but I haven't a clue as to how to wire them. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

I assume that you bought these in the link below which also includes a wiring schematic: http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Electronics,_pickups/Potentiometers_and...

Does anyone have a preferred location for the interal K &K Twin Spot? The instructions show it directly under the bridge between the 1st & 2nd and 5th & 6th strings. In the past I have mounted internal transducers outside the bridge area, but parallel to it. Has anyone found the "sweet spot" fot the Twin Spots?
