Starting my first Oud

I want to try to make an Oud. I have little/no experience with woodwork. Where should I start? Are there any good books I should read or websites?

Dr. Oud is the way to go

It is the best book to follow and take advice from.

Many members have used and made a wonderful ouds.

But it is for serious people !!!
