hey guys,
these forums are amazing. there is so much talent here and i am happy that with this amazing technology we can share our tunes with eachother.
here is one of my compositions...a simple karsilama that i hope you will enjoy.

what kind of derbake do you play? it sounds like the turkish type made of shiny aluminum? Am I right?
I your percusion playing is verry tight by the way I like it. Most people will look for the frills and the speed but if you cant keep the beat its worth junk.

thanks for you compliments samir, and the derbeke is actually the classic arabic style with the heavy cast aluminum body...Thank you Itziks...the oud is from Izmir (Turkey) and was fixed up a little by peter kyvelos in belmont, mass. Jeez, you get a great sound out of that oud. Beautiful, man. Killer playing. Love it.
Let's see, I think I now have 6 Amos tracks loaded up on my ipod. Mighty fine listening.
