oud sample

Hello everybody,

I'm a grad student in music, and I'm in need of a high quality sample of an oud for a class project. I'm not an oud player myself, and I haven't been able to locate anything on the web that would really work for me. What I'm looking for is a sample of a single note - probably one of the open strings (or courses of strings), close-miked, with no reverb, background noise, etc. Also, the instrument should be an Arabic oud in the appropriate tuning (my understanding is that there are a number of different traditions, each with their own instrument design and tuning). Also, the sample would ideally be in aiff or wav format (not mp3). I won't be using the sample as part of a recording or anything, I'll just be analyzing it (I'd be happy to explain the project to anyone who might be interested).

Thanks,

Jon
