Salaam Ya Ali,
My advice is TO STAY AWAY FROM ACQUILLA!
They are the worst brand I have ever used in my life.
Anyway, Here is a site that mght sell separate strings. However, I never replaced a single string either. If I lost one, I replaced the whole set.

http://www.juststrings.com/oud.html

I recommend LaBella

http://www.juststrings.com/labellaoud.html

The Arabic set is:

LAB_OU80A

The best quality I have ever used so far is
Pyramid lute strings

http://www.pyramid-strings.de

According to my tuning, below are the strings I ordered with their respective diameters in mm's:

ff 0.575
cc 0.700
gg 0.906
dd 1.010
aa 1.017
ff 1.025

Good luck,

Hatem

contrary to hatem's experience, i found nylgut strings from aquilla to be excellent - they take longer to settle down but once done they stay in tune longer and last longer than ordinary nylon.

i belive aquilla in the states requires a minimum order of $30-something but mimmo, here in italy- to the best of my knowledge - does not.

thanks for the string gauge info. greg.

I must thank you Haluk for your gift that came with the Electric oud.

This Aquilla strings set was the best, Highly recommended for all oud players.

Haluk, Do you sell separate strings too?

Dear friends,
maybe I think to give you good new: starting from now we sell single oud strings also. In fact I think not right that one is obliged to buy a whole set because one or two strings are out of quality.

You can learn more here:
http://www.aquilacorde.com/catalogo13.htm

I hope that this work in the right way! ;)
Ciao!
