Iranian Oud pattern

Hi everydody :

I have an Iranian style Oud and as you see in Pic. attached there is slite difference of neck and body size .
I was wondering if there is any arabic oud maker who would make an Oud with this pattern , for me but with floating bridge and arabic atyle holes on the face .
I assume that would be a special order. does any body know a good oud maker ( Preferly in USA ) who would accept such order ?

Thank you

Hi Ali,
There is one guy, he is really good oud, Bouzouki, Lavta (Greece name for oud which is in your pic). I ordered my bouzouki from him, he made with high quality and clean work. He send it to me via DHL.
Any way for more information you can visit:http://www.samir-oud.8m.com/. and for soundclip for my bouzouki

Dr.Oud is the USA and has made iranian barbat's before. So he's definetly your best bet.

Thats his website and you can see pictures of the oud he's made including the barbat.

Hey,

Just FYI, this is not a lavta. A lavta has four courses tuned DADA and microtonal frets. This looks more like a barbat. :)
