Lovely playing, and a very tasteful arrangement. It's very easy for the piano to overpower an oud (or a guitar for that matter) in a duo setting
like this, so I appreciate the intelligence, care and sensitivity on the part of both players that went into creating a balance (not just in volume,
either, but also in the musical roles of each instrument) on this recording.
Love to hear some more from you both....

Riadh,
Very successful arrangement. I used to play classical guitar with my brother the pianist.
I would also be interested in hearing you perform this great samai without the piano.

I just found the sheet in arabic notation. Tomorrow i'll try to attach it....this is very much needed by lazy people like me as turkish has to be
transposed à fifth lower.

there is a percussionis who uses bendir and some symbals.
it is not bad.
i prefer riadh's version whid beautiful chords.

My ears are big potatoes and have less that 2% absolute musical capacity.
But am still alife and trying to learn music. May be after a whole life of fight i will reach 3%...
Can it still be a good exercise if i play oud G at same time i listen riadh3oud on C ?? It just may sound bizarre but still within perfect quintes,
harmonically??

moi je ne le fais jamais, tu peux demander a riadh ce qu'il en pense.
par contre il suffit que t'aies un oud accordé en fa, pour que ça sonne en do, et come ça tu pourras jouer avec la belle musique de riadh et ses
beaux accords aux piano.
j'espere que tu comprends, je crois pas que ça soit trop clair.

hi Riadh- your oud and friend's piano playing together is very lovely, and blended well, the piano is not too dominant. there was a beautiful samai'i
