Hi Georgo. My oud teacher here in Harrisburg, PA has some ouds he's thinking of selling. I forget the details on them, but most are turkish.

Do you want me to find out more for you?

Let me know. By the way, sorry to hear about your oud. That has to hurt man.

Hi again. I spoke with my teacher and he told me he is not interested in selling any of his ouds. 3 he has for playing and a few older ones he is keeping for his family.

Sorry he couldn't help you, but why not try some of the oud maker links on this page:

Oud in NY

Yassoo Giorgi,

My friend "mawoud" (actually his name is Nader) has a very nice Syrian oud for sale by Sukkar. He is in NY and also has posts on this Forum (look for posts by mawoud, you may even be able to see the oud). He also goes to Lebanon and can get one if you want it. I don't get any commission, he's just a nice guy.

Good luck

Oud in NY

Hi Georgo,
My name is Nader and I'm Spyro's friend and I'm honored to be his friend. He just told me that you are looking for someone who has a oud for sale in NY. I have a oud that is good quality oud, has a good sound, professional and with no deffect at all. The oud made by a famoud oud maker in the arab region and especially in Syria and Lebanon. Feel free to contact me. I will send you a link to see the pictures of it. In the link there will be pictures of other ouds but most of them are sold. Just look for the first 5 pictyres that are of the oud I'm talking about.
Nader
