100th question on string tensions

Hey guys, I know I can probably search the forums and find the answer to my question but im feeling lazy and figured it would not hurt to ask.

I have a samir azar floating bridge syrian oud and I feel the tension of the strings are a bit loose, mainly on the low bass strings. How do I figure out what is the proper tension of strings I need?

Thanks,

Rami

Hello Pal,

I would ask Samir Azar him self if I was in your case. The maker of the oud will be the best person to tell. Don't you agree? Unless Samir is too hard to reach or get in contact with.

All the best Rami
