Yes that's right..Me being of Chaldean/Assyrian decent and all..We were suprised by it..And got a good laugh all at the same time..

Ya i remember seeing that when it aired, I thought it was pretty hilarious. Next thing we need is a bunch of arabs doing zaghareet and Debka all over
the room.
I remember they had a world Idol special once where they got all the idol winners from all the countries and they competed. The jordanian girl that
won at the time was only one that sang in her native language and Simon ripped on her for that.
Then I forget what exactly happeed, but elias rahbani was the judge who represented the middle east and he made a comment about one guy sounding like
kurt cobain of nirvana, and simon was like your lebanese what do you know about kurt cobain.
