Generally speaking, I found that Turkish workmanship is a lot cleaner than arabic ouds, ie, even the cheapest of Turkish ouds is usually well made and
finished. But having said that, the cheapest of guitars look clean and well built, but that doesnt mean their playable. Of course I am not at all
suggesting that about this oud. But something to consider anyway...
