www.bouzoukidvd.com

Greetings all,

This is indeed a wonderful site.
I have also recently purchased a Najarian Oud and i am in love with the instrument and especially the application of the oud to Greek music.

I am also the co-creator of the first Greek Bouzouki Instructional Tutorial in DVD format. For anyone interested, feel free to visit our site at http://www.bouzoukidvd.com
We have included more than 5 hours worth of Digital footage on how to play both the 4 and 3 string greek bouzoukia.

Best Regards,

Harry G.

Dear Spyro.

Thank you for the kind comments.

I should have elaborated i guess on the DVD series. By no means is someone going to learn to play the Greek bouzouki just by popping in the DVD's and watching them a few times. This tutorial is intended for use in parallel with actual practice and dedication. It is a comprehensive database if you will of everything pertaining to the Greek bouzouki. This includes the scales, their chords, the greek rhythms, multiple excersises, songs and various picking and strumming techniques. There are also interactive menus that show chord, scale diagrams and more. Material for both the "tetraxordo" and "trixordo" is covered. In order for someone to digest all the material it would take two to three years minimum.
I apologize if it sounded that this was a quick and dirty way to learn the bouzouki. That was not my intention.

Kind regards,

Harry Georgakopoulos.
