another oud on ebay

hi guys,
I guess i'll buy this oud 'cause it is very cheap and as far as I understood, it is brand new- I liked the handcraft there. So the question is, do you think i'll be able to play turkish music with it, is it possible?
thanks
here is the oud:

Mood: play my ouds

Dear friend.....
Do you really want to have an oud like that?
I had a bad experience with one of those......[like that on the aspect I mean]....why don't wait to restore your money and get an Intermediate oud.....
It is better to wait than have an oud that you can't even enjoy it....
I don't know about the sound of thisone, but believe me....I baught one like that, and now it is on my cousin's wall,as an ornament thing.....
Be carefull my friend....it is not the money that you maybe will lose,it is the feeling and the disapointment that is much bigger....
Regards

zz, this one I gotta agree with spyros on. I mean, this is all for show. I've seen some utterly ugly looking ouds that sound amazing, but I know that this one, with all of it's sadaf, will not be fantastic. I recommend you to save your money.

When you buy something like this and you get it, you'll be disappointed and won't want to play another oud again. If you have a choice, don't go for it. I had no choice in the beginning and I started with a professional oud that lost much of it's touch. Just... don't get this one. Wait until you can go and play on some of them in Egypt or Syria or something, and then pick from those.

Or... order from Dimitris' site. He's amazing in making ouds, the sounds beautiful, and you won't have to worry about it not pleasing you when you get it.

Good luck

Dear ZZ80, since you are a beginner,it is enough for you to spend around 400$ for a plain oud. Is completely madness to recommend a beginner to spend lot of money for an oud that he will not understand.

Best wishes
