Sound of Samir Azar ouds

My fellow oudies. hello. Would any of you happen to have a sample audio cilp of a Samir Azar oud? His own demo clips, despite his masterful playing, have such poor audio quality that it is really difficult to get a good sense for the sound characteristics of the instrument. Many thanks in advance.

Samir Sound

I have a 7-course Samir Azar Oud – its really great! I have an old sound file that may give you a general idea - unfortunately the playing is not so great on it. This oud has taught me to play much better since I first got it. I recorded this right after I got it -- I'll post a new file in the next couple of days!

Another sample

Here's a quick little sample I just made. Just put new strings on so they haven't had time to settle yet – tuned, low to high: A E A d g c f – 7 course. I recorded with a cheap microphone – no effects. This oud seems to have a kind of built-in echo naturally. Although it may not seem like it on this recording it is a real canon! Very loud with a lot of projection. I tend to play a bit softer and you'll hear some "hybrid fingerpicking" at one point.
