Amazing! mandolin tab to play oud


I found out you can use mandolin tab to play on oud, for example happy birthday, check it out

Nice find! I didn't think it would work but I found some octave mandolin tab for "Ode to Joy" and it worked as well. Fantastic!

How can it work if the mandolin tunes on fifths and the oud on fourths? :rolleyes:

Only can work if you misinterpret the tab and consider the 1 to be the string most grave. The melody will be altered because it fall down when it is supposed to go up.
