HI alibaba. Well I think that your question is too vague. You should better be precise about what u want to know. Personally I have nothing to suggest
except that you try to listen to different versions of the tune, like the one played by mounir bashir, by Marcel Khalife+Charbel Rouhana in Jadal...
and then u can put ur personal touch in it, u'll find more pleasure.
I have a question : Does anyone know and is sure of where the tune originally comes from? Which country? How old? Who composed it?
Lebanese fanatics would say it is composed by the rahbani brothers, which I am sure is not the case at all!
Cheers

yeah your right sorry, The rhythm is kinda hard, not exactly sure where to pause and how fast to go, ive heard several recordings and they almost all
differ, and i tried with a music sheet reader, but i feel it might have been too slow? im not sure, thanks

Er, a bit late coming to this party, I'm living on top of a mountain with no phone or power, so don't get here much any more, but Oud Freak.."I have a question : Does anyone know and is sure of where the tune
originally comes from? Which country? How old? Who composed it? " the site of Alsiadi (Syria) has this tune, or very similar called "Al Uzobya" and
says it traditional Syrian.
