Anyone can tell me how to get good Oud strings ( arabic oud Cfadgc ) in the New York area? I personally like Galli strings, I used to get them from
Oud man Najeb Shaheen and
now that he moved to California I have lost contact with him....sigh! and I seem to be forced to buy strings on line....double sigh!
I tryed ordering a set of La Bella from Lark in the Morning but they are really horrible strings!!! they just have no sustain at all and no ring! ( if
anything they buzz... ) and very hard to tune .
It's very frustrating looking at my oud without strings...It used to sound so good.
pleaseeeee help.
I'd much appreciate to find a new contact for Shaheen too if anyone has it.

I have Pyramid and Aquila strings that I can send to you Priority tomorrow. You'd probably have them Thursday. You can probably get Dadarrios at a
local guitar shop if you are in a hurry.
