Question about oud strings for Turkish oud
Dear fellas
İ am currently in Turkey and will be for more two weeks.
İ'm determined to buy good strings for my oud and İ have something to ask.
I own a Turkish oud but İ tune it Arabic way since İ like the sound much better and also İ mostly (try to) play Arabic music/maqams.
Should İ look for Arabic strings or just leave it for Turkish ones? Also, if it's Turkish ones - La Belle or Pyramid?
I would be grateful for your advice.
